How do I know if my implant is healing?

How Long Does It Take for the Implant to Settle?

Dental implants take 2 to 6 months to fully integrate into the bone, a process known as osseointegration. During this time, the implant settles and becomes a stable foundation for a crown or other restoration.

How Long Does It Take for a Dental Implant to Feel Normal?

It usually takes about 3 to 6 months for a dental implant to feel completely normal. After the healing process and once the final crown is placed, the implant should feel just like a natural tooth.
