When do implants stop hurting?

How Many Days Does Dental Implant Pain Last?

Mild pain or discomfort typically lasts for 3 to 7 days after the procedure. It should gradually decrease each day. If the pain persists or worsens, consult your dentist.

What Is the Most Painful Part of a Dental Implant?

The most uncomfortable part of a dental implant procedure is usually the recovery period after the surgery, particularly the first few days. The actual implant placement is done under local anesthesia, so you shouldn't feel pain during the procedure itself.

How Long Is Your Mouth Sore After a Dental Implant?

Your mouth may feel sore for about 5 to 10 days after the surgery. The soreness should gradually subside as the tissue heals.

When Do Implants Stop Hurting?

The majority of discomfort should subside within 3 to 7 days, and you should feel comfortable within 2 weeks. Any pain after this period may indicate a problem and should be evaluated by your dentist.
