Does Implant Damage Tooth Sinuses?

No, implant does not damage tooth sinusus. Under normal conditions, damage to the sinuses is not expected in implant treatments performed by an experienced physician. While evaluating the maxilla, if the dental implant is placed even though the volume of the bone is not suitable for the implant , the tip of the implant may damage the sinus cavity. This causes some problems in the sinuses. Of course, there is a solution to this, but the treatment time will be longer. If the implant is placed in a way that damages the sinuses, it is removed and the damage in the sinus can be removed with bone powder treatment .

You can find out whether you are suitable for this treatment and whether there is a possibility of damage to the sinuses during the treatment by making an appointment with our clinic and taking measurements of your upper jawbone.
