If the extracted tooth is left empty for a long time, will the implant become a tooth ?

In such a case, an evaluation is made with the examination and radiological findings by a specialist dentist. It is calculated how much bone volume is lost in the jawbone. The jawbone is a very sensitive structure that takes shape according to the pressure on it. Since the bone that cannot have teeth on it for a long time is not stimulated, it begins to shrink over time. The movements of the teeth in the jawbone on the sides of the cavity formed after tooth extraction are evaluated. For implant application , the possibility of damaging other tooth roots is taken into account. If suitable conditions are determined after these examinations, dental implants can be applied. It can be said that the chance of success of implant treatment decreases as the time elapses after tooth extraction .
